Question - Seaport TKTS

Well, a few questions, actually.

I did a search, and found out how to get there (see link below - yes, I posted the thread I found lol). However, my question is now how do I get to the 2 or 3 train. I'm staying at the Quality Times Sq on West 47th, so directions from there or Times Square would be greatly appreciated.

Also, I know you can buy tickets to matinees a day early there... if I get to the booth at about 3pm, will the selection be good for a matinee on Wednesday?

Thanks! Oh, and sorry for posting so many questions relating to my trip next week... I just figure its the best place to ask!

Take the 2 at 42nd & 7th... or take the 1 at 50th & 7th and then transfer to the 2 (across the platform) at 42nd. Then get out at Fulton Street and walk from John down to the seaport.
