HEy, I just got two tickets for Wicked at the Hobby Center in Houston, and I am SO SO excited! I wanted to ask someone who has been there if my seats have limited viewing at all...
ORCH...Right...row C...seat 5
and Left Box...row 9...seat 4
Thanks, anyone!

Posted: 9/12/05 at 6:35pmI've been to the Hobby Center more times than I can count. It's a beautiful theater (with stars lit up on the ceiling!). None of the seats in Hobby are bad, it's just that some are better than others. I actually prefer to sit in the front rows of the Mezzanine; looking down on the stage instead of shifting around other people's heads works better for me. The only problem with your tickets could be not seeing the entire stage from the box seat (the side might be obstructed a bit). But that's a common problem with box seats so you probably already knew that! Hope this helps! Enjoy the show and beautiful Hobby. (ah, one more thing - parking at Hobby is so simple. And you pass the stage door on your way to the garage so if you're one to stay and get autographs, it's really easy.)

My TUTS season tickets are Right Orch, Row E, Seat 5. You'll be able to see just fine from there.
I've sat in just about every section they have from center orchestra to the top row of the balcony, and they really don't have a bad seat. If any seats on the outside edge are truly obstructed view, they usually move you when you get there, but you will not have that problem at all.
