Question about Lestat Opening Night in New York

Hello all,

Here's a question. I just got an e-mail alert that American Express cardholders can get tickets for Lestat in New York starting today but....tickets don't seem to be available for the opening night on Thursday April 13th. Is that normal? Do opening night tickets take longer to become available to the public normally?

opening night tickets are never open to the public, except for charity donated seats or last minute availibility.

I got my opening night tickets through a Broadway Cares auction.

Needless to say, I'm pretty excited. But patience is not a virtue I value, so I got tickets to the first night of the NYC previews, too.
