Question about Porgy and Bess tickets

We are now finalizing our plans for our holiday trip to NYC. I was holding out on buying Porgy and Bess tickets to see if a discount might show up. However, the discount won't apply for the dates we are there (no big surprise since it's between Christmas and New Years). Now I'm faced with a decision that I need help with. For the first time ever, I am considering buying premium seats (rows 3 to 7, center orch are available). Is this worth the extra $75 per ticket, or will we be just as happy on the 2nd row center mezzanine? Keep in mind that we've never seen Audra live and we are more than excited for this!

The tickets we already have are for Follies, Bonnie and Clyde, and Mountaintop. Thanks for your thoughts!

I can't make your decision for you, but having sat in the front row for the show at the ART in Boston, I have to say that it was absolutely stunning to see her that close. She's a powerhouse, but she also does a lot of subtle things that I wouldn't have caught up close. I'd say think about the other things that you could spend the $75 on, and if you can eliminate those things without messing too much up, it's worth it to be close. But that's just me--2nd row of the center mezz is also a fantastic location!
