Question about Sweet Smell of Success...

Does anyone know where I can find out more information about the show? Other than the music, I really don't know much about the show. I swear I tried to research it, but I think I am just too impatient and/or not internet savvy enough to find anything good. I appreciate the help.

Well, i mean this is sort of obvious, but if you have the CAst Recording there's a synopsis, I believe. I dont really like the music for this show at all, just not my taste, i thought i would. Also check out www.ibdb.com for info on the show, as in cast and stuff.

To state the truly obvious - it's based on the movie by the same name, which starred Burt Lancaster and Tony Curtis. The lead character of J.J. Hunsecker is based on legendary columnist Walter Winchell.

What are you trying to find out? It's been discussed on here before-- there is no shortage of opinion.
