I have a question about Wicked - in the final scene, where Glinda climbs back into her bubble and says "I'd like to try to be Glinda the Good", is this supposed to be occurring straight after the musical's opening/"No-One Mourns The Wicked" scene, or before. i.e is this final scene supposed to complete the coming of Glinda to greet the citizens of Oz that began at the beginning of the musical or is it a scene that hapenned at a completely different time?
Any help, greatly appreciated.

the end and the bgiining are the same scene... the beginning she starts to tell the story and then thats what the whole show is, glinda revisting the story, then at the end, same scene, she is finished with the story and then finishes what she is going to say.. thats probably not the best way to describe it but im tired soooo.....
basically the show is a story in a story , a frame if you will
I think Stephen, Winnie or Joe would say "that's up to you.."
I agree with ShuQ...
to me it's the end. She starts off pretending she never knew elphie, but then after she tells the story I take that to mean she's almost asking the citizens for forgivness for not being honest.
just me though.

i agree with angelrock25222, the end is the completion of the first scene
Wrong. In the final scene, she is getting into her bubble to go and tell the citizens. Basically, the end leads into the beginning. It is what happens before the "Goodness Knows"...
Got it?
