Question about the York
#1Question about the York
Posted: 10/17/07 at 4:40pmDoes anybody know if the York records their performances? Is every performance get a cast album recorded, or does it depend on the demand? Thanks in advance. I've got some friends from out of town, who won't be able to attend "The Baker's Wife," and we were curious. I didn't want to contact the theater if someone here knew first. Thanks again!

Posted: 10/19/07 at 8:23amGenerally speaking, the York only makes cast albums for shows that don't already have one, have been updated since their initial recording, or have some other compelling reason why a recording would be warranted. So, in the case of something like the Baker's Wife, which already has two quality album versions in release, it is unlikely that a recording would be made.
