At the end of "Ode to the Attention Seekers" is it just me, or does Raul scream "I F*cking love it" towards the end?

I actually had the cd for a while before I realized what he screams there. And one day it just hit me!
Ugh, it's so hot.

Hm, I've never noticed that. But indeed he does. Very good.
That's also him on the freakishly high note at the end.
That "high" note is Raul's homage to Julie Andrews "Le Jazz Hot" a la Victor/Victoria.

Everyone--
Don't kill me, but I've only heard Petrified (from the London cast recording). That's all. I'm afraid to buy it because I'm afraid I might not like it.
Anyway, that's an interesting thing for Raúl to yell out....
Buy it. You can't hate it.

I can't?
Is that a command?!
Well, I'm going to Barnes and Noble tonight with my mom's boyfriend and his son, so I'll listen to it there.
Definitely buy it! It's different. I was afraid I'd hate it, but I LOVE IT, and that's really saying something.

Mmm. I don't see how anyone could hate the OBCR of Taboo.

It's one of the few CDs I play all the way through without skipping over songs. That's saying something.
It's a damn shame "TABOO" didn't run longer, The show can stand on it's own, I feel that dishy suits and MR basically gave it every kiss of death possible. If Rosie could run it in a setting a la Studio 54, It would become a staple. Perhaps it couldn't afford such "Star Power" as it had, But there is a LOT of talent out there just waiting to be discovered, and isn't that part of the message of "TABOO" anyway?? We shall see it mounted again, If the only fact being is that Rosie is not a quitter, and thank heavens for this woman, Aunt Ro - You are a Goddess!!! XXOOOO

Well, I've heard that the show had some problems with the book, but the music is great. I love it. Genocide Peroxide, I See Through You, and Petrified are some of my favtorite songs.

Soo sad to remember the death of taboo. I agree- the plymouth was a poor choice of venue. Either 54 or Circle in the Sq. would have been better choices- not to mention a handful of off broadway locations (jane st. anyone?) The music is so incredible. Definitly the most beautiful score of the year. If it hadn't closed, it would have given q and wicked a run for the money.
Not to mention STELLER performances by Raul, Jeffrey, Liz, Cary, Sarah, and Euan.
Has anyone seen the legend of Leigh Bowery DVD? Rosie has an interview on their where she talks briefly about taboo, and then slighly looks at the camera and whispers "We'll be back." It's priceless.
So- with that being said, I wouldnt be surprised to see Rosie bringing Taboo back in the not to far off future.
I'd love to see it, but she's probably all talk with that one.
Buy the CD - even just for "Petrified" - it's great.
