I've never been to the Easter Bonnet before so I have a few questions:
1) Is it general admission by level? In other words, if you buy mezzanine tickets, can you sit anywhere in the mezzanine?
2) What is the show like? Is it good?
3) Which day is a better day to go?
Thanks in advance for any help!

The last couple of years, the Easter Bonnet was fantastic. There's always an extra energy that comes with a two-nights-only performance, as well as pulling eager performers out of the shadows and placing them center stage. It doesn't hurt that there's the added enthusiasm for supporting a great cause. That brings me to the answer to your second question. I always go on the second day, for Bonnet and also Gypsy of the Year. It's "closing night," plus it builds to the announcing of the winning Bonnets. Regarding seating: all seats are assigned. Hope this helps, see you Tuesday! (By the way, I have a bunch of pictures from the 2003 Gypsy of the Year competition up on the web, follow the link below and click back to December to see them.)

Have they announced the awards presenters for the Easter Bonnet Awards? It would be difficult to top the trio of Bernadette, Harvey, and Hugh in the last Gypsy Competition at the Palace Theater.
