Were I a Broadway producer/star or some such, I know I would be monitoring this board and all the others. Where else are you going to get the true unvarnished feelings/reactions of the show going public? Places like this are a gold mine of information put out there, free of charge, for them to see and use as they see fit.
Yes, not every line of posting is going to be something helpful to them but I’m sure they’re smart enough to weed out what they don’t need.
I would agree that some of the harsher postings would be very hurtful. I hate to see some of the more disrespectful ones and find myself cringing while reading them. I would like to see those toned down a bit-- they are human beings and entitled to some level of respect-- but at the same time as I already stated, where else are you going to get the true unvarnished feelings/reactions? One can only hope that the person/show that is being torn apart can take it with a grain of salt and move on.
BB–as far as being from Mars–would that impression of humans be before or AFTER we shot them down?
