I saw it last night and had a wonderful time...half the audience leaves the theater tap dancing...myself included!
Go. Enjoy!
Be Happy.

JohnBoy2, are you going to see this presentation? I'd be interested to hear your thoughts.
Well thank you! I'm thrilled that someone would be interested in my thoughts. But no, we won't be going. I'd love to see it, though. But a gravely ill father-in-law, a grandbaby and other pressing things will keep us in Virginia.

Just got back. Tremendous, silly, tuneful fun!
Sandy Duncan was a delight. Zesty and bubbly, this sixty-plus gal danced her ass off and was clearly having a ball. I want whatever vitamins she takes!
But the show was completely stolen by Beth Leavel.

Posted: 5/10/08 at 8:55amDon't forget--for her performance in that role, Helen Gallagher was given the Tony award OVER Elaine Stritch in Company.

Good points, alterego & pj. But when Leavel is on stage - you don't look at anyone else.
OK, you also look at Michael Baresse. :)
And what's Helen Gallagher doing these days? I saw her last at a Siegel Town Hall musical event about two years ago, and she danced and belted like it was still 1971.
