I am a HUGE Carlin fan. My heart dropped when I saw the title of this thread. It is hard for me to believe that this is true. The man was a genius. Say what you will about his language but he was a genius none the less.

One of my favorite short routines of his is called "five twos." "I've never F---ed a ten but one night I f---ed five twos. I think that aught to count. Folks, if you haven't seen it, you gotta rent the movie DOGMA. Carlin plays a priest who tries to soften the church's image by introducing "Buddy Christ" (as illustrated).

I thought he did not look well in his last few appearences but hey He'd lived a large life. Remember the hippy dippy weatherman? Or how about his straight dramatic turn in Prince of Tides? A real loss. R.I.P.
