We lost an incredible vocalist today.
maybe not a Broadway star/legend.
But a legend in many of our heats in the vocal world.

Most folks probably know her from the "Celebrate the Moments of Our Lives" coffee commercial, as well as a ton of other commercial jingles.

Thanks taboo, for starting this thread in tribute to the wonderful Phoebe Snow. I was just l;istening to one of her CDs a couple of days ago. She was a fine artist who never sacrificed her artistic integrity. Highly recommended for anyone interested in Ms. Snow is her sophomore work, "Second Childhood," a absolutely flawless record (IMHO). For theaterfans her (she loved thetaer music), I also suggest "Second Childhood," as the closing track is her swingin' cover of "There's a Boat That's Leavin' for New York" from Porgy & Bess.
Thanks for the many hours of joy you gave me and so many others Phoebe Snow. RIP.
