awesome review. enjoyable!

i dont know. but the best roger i've seen out of ALL the times i have seen it was sebastian. wow. maybe he was just having a really good day. but i saw him last summer in it, and WOW he blew me away. and that was not my first time seeing it.

Wow, now I understand the meaning of "difference of opinion". I've seen Sebastian as both Mark and Roger, and really disliked both performances.

JOHN LITHGOW I just realized, your last name is Butz! Both "Norbert" AND "Butz" are in your name! You must have gotten picked on a lot as a child!

I didn't like Sebastian as Roger when I saw him in April. He had okay chemistry with Karmine, I just don't think he emoted as much as I would've liked in his singing or acting.

BTW, did he really get fired??

GITF, you did not recognize Raul singing Petrified? How could you?

It's ok, I need to redo it so you can see better. Can you lighten images in paint?

Tiff- Sebastian got moved down to swing because full-tim Roger was too much for his voice. I saw him as Mark, not my favorite.

Ok so I'm a little behind, but I just found this site...

I've seen Rent twice (I live near Chicago, not NYC). First time I saw it was on August 7th. Jai Rodriguez was Angel and that was the coolest thing ever! God I became obsessed with the show.

Then I saw it again yesterday... I gotta say I didn't like Drew Lachey as Mark. And Justin Johnston will never be as good as Jai. I agree he was too masculine and didn't go for the high notes... I swear it was like he sang in another key and that really pissed me off. I still love it, cause it's Angel, but I missed my Jai Jai. lol.

If he comes back again I'll have to go see it. I will fly out here just for that. And I love Destan Owens now! He was so fantastic as Collins. I got his autograph after the show and talked to him for a minute, and he seemed pretty cool. Wow I could go on talking about this all day...
