RENT in Out Magazine - and EW

Richard SF over at Compulsive Bowlers has posted a fascinating (long) excerpt from an upcoming interview with members of the cast. The full cover story will be in the upcoming September issue.

ETA: I'm recycling this thread to include the information that Entertainment Weekly's Fall Preview issue just out has a half page on RENT, plus a seven-page fashion spread with Rosario and Taye. Gorgeous!

Do they interview Jesse and Wilson? Do they talk about Angel and Collins being a gay couple? I hope so, or that's just plain homophobic.

The excerpts I saw (on the CB boards) showed parts of the interview featuring Jesse, Adam, Tracie and Rosario. I'm not sure if that means they were all interviewed and just part of it was posted, or what.

Can't wait either. I bet they split up the interviews, as eight people at once might be hard to handle. Maybe the next one we see will feature the other four.

I don't know, Emcee... It said to pick up the September issue of Out to see the complete story, so I'm guessing that there's more to it. I'm hoping there's more to it, at least!

Chloe, the picture in your avatar is beautiful, even if Adam is getting lost in his hair. There's something a little off with the lighting, though; maybe it looks a tad artificial. I'm not sure.

The image of Collins and Roger dancing on the table, however, has always made me laugh. Have a look at Jesse's expression!

Hurrah for context!

Now that I think about it, perhaps Roger's back is to the door; in the 2004 draft of the script (which, I believe, people are now taking for the shooting script) they were in a courtyard behind(?) the Life Cafe. Maybe Roger and Mimi were too wrapped up in love with one another to remember to close the door and spare their friends from the cold!

ANyone have any idea if you can get 'OUT' in canada?
