RENT movie...new ending?/What if...

Hey all, I just watched the latest RENT movie blog. In it Rosario mentions she brought some new things to the character of Mimi and then she says "to see someone so young go..." (still refurring to Mimi). It got me thinking what if the ending of the movie is different then the play... What if Mimi dies!? That would be a surprise. Although, we all know she does die in La Boheme, so it wouldn’t be a totally crazy idea. Anyway Just a random thought... discuss....

Yeah also in the soundtrack she sings in Finale B, and Roger sings "Thank God this moment's not the last." I think she meant more like it was sad to see someone so young condemned to death.
