Not entirely surprising that they would pick tonight as it's a 2nd night press night and I believe it's also the night that the MTV contest winners will be in attendance en masse.

They sang three songs after the cast took its final bow, including the title song. The cast stood along the perimeter of the stage as they performed.

Er, they sang TWO songs.... "American Idiot" and "Basket Case"

The cast of the show sang their own encore of "Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)" before the band came out.

Would have been cool to see. I went to the St. James in hopes of doing the lotto for tonight. However, one of the people who usually runs the lotto told me that we can thank MTV for not having a lotto tonight due to the fact that they put the contest winners in the lotto seats.
