Such a handsome man and wonderful addition to Barney Miller. I guess he got some of his training in Minneapolis appearing with small theatre companies and at the Guthrie. RIP.

I was saddened to hear of his passing. There was a softness and gentle balance to his performances that I always liked. While he wasn't a HUGE name, I think he was a better actor than most might assume.

I loved him also when he appeared in an episode of All in The Family, as a sort of streetwise thug (at least, according to Archie's version). In one scene, he says to Archie, "You know man, you irritate me."
