...And apparently she was also the voice of Mrs. Butterworth! If you're not familiar with her singing, look up her gorgeous "Lorna's Here" or "Golden Boy" or "I Want To Be With You" on line.

You may have been thinking of Paula Stewart in Wildcat who played Lucille Ball's younger sister.
Paula Wayne's singing in Golden Boy was incredible. I've listened to those songs many many times over the years and never get tired hearing her voice.

I saw Ms Wayne in Golden Boy a few times. She played Lorna, the girl friend of the fight manager
who falls for Joe, the Sammy Davis Junior character. She and Davis had strong chemistry and she was
excellent as the "hardboiled" woman who has to choose between two men.
