fyi, she's going to be starring in a movie on cbs next weekend called 'riding on the bus with my sister'... she looks like she'll be brilliant from the commercial i saw. i know this is ot, but with the support rosie has from this board she deserves to be on here, ok? anyone with more info please elaborate.

Posted: 4/11/05 at 9:18amI still have not forgiven her for her part forcing "Taboo" on us, but I have been reading her poetry lately and I am getting a bit more forgiving.

Though not a fan of Rosie as a performer, I think all Broadway fans owe her a little gratitude for the exposure her show gave to theatre during its run. I still have recordings of The Lion King, Side Show, Ragtime, Audra McDonald, Cabaret, and a bunch of other shows and theatre people who would never have gotten airtime performing on her show...and for those of us who grew up in the middle of nowhere, that was a huge blessing.:)
And, I'll thank her for Taboo for the rest of my life.

I think that Rosie should option the rights to the British show "The Vicar of Dilby" and play the American version.
Or maybe go off on that theme and play a boistrous nun. She could grab Dana Ivey or Frances Sternhagen as the grumpy Mother Superior and have fellow nun guest stars such as Sally Field and Julie Andrews.
