I have the opportunity to see a production of Rumors this weekend..is it worth seeing? Is it funny?
I want to take my boyfriend--he's not THAT into shows, but I guess it's worth a shot if this show truly is entertaining--so, is it long? And is it entertaining/funny, whatever else you have to say about it, thanks :)

And the other thing about the Phantom Lady was, Bert, she realized, in the city that never sleeps... What did she realize, Kitten? That all the songs she'd listened to, all the love songs, that they were only songs. What's wrong with that? Nothing, if you don't believe in them. But she did, you see. She believed in enchanted evenings, and she believed that a small cloud passed overhead and cried down on a flower bed, and she even believed there was breakfast to be had... Where? On Pluto. The mysterious, icy wastes of Pluto.

It's usually considered the most "un-simon" play of the Neil simon canon, but it is wonderful. It is a farce along the lines of Lend me a tenor or noises off. If it's done well, I can't imagine anyone not enjoying it.

Other than that, did you enjoy the play Mrs Lincoln?

I love this play. One of the funniest I've seen. I definitely recommend it.

Go! I think that you will both enjoy it (if it's done well).

My university did a production of "Rumours" this fall, and it was one of the funniest plays I've ever seen. I honestly laughed until it hurt.

I love this play! If it's done well, it will probably be the funniest night of theatre you've ever experienced.

It's laughs, after laughs, after laughs.

After seeing it, I've always wanted to be Glenn.

It's wonderful (and I'm no Simon fan.) It's incredibly crazy and zany, and keeps piling on the twists and complications.

I ask in all honesty/What would life be?/Without a song and a dance, what are we?/So I say "Thank you for the music/For giving it to me."

I've been in this show twice (once as Lenny, once as Glenn) and had a great time during both productions. Go for it!

I was in this show last year as Ernie. This is by far one of the funniest shows, if it is done right.
