^Well I think you hit the nail on the head there. Catch Me If You Can was not a pre-Broadway try out, but a production funded largely by the 5th Avenue Theatre in Seattle. The Addams Family is a pre-Broadway try out which has concrete plans to open in the spring.

Maybe CMIYC will have the buzz that The Addams Family does during this potential Toronto run.

"Live in Living Color" is one of the best opening numbers I've heard in ages.

Having seen too many shows to count over the past 50 years, I feel compelled to make this my first comment on this site.
I saw CMIYC in Seattle the day after the premiere and with the exception of Mr. Tveit's fly being open and his shirt poking through in the next to the last scene, it was a flawless performance by all. Granted it was a tad long, and there were a couple of scenes that were unnecessary, which often happens in previews, but the music was clever and melodic and the way this true story was told was somewhat unique for a musical.

I feel confident in saying that this show will undoubtedly make Mr. Tveit a huge Broadway star as his spectacular voice and charisma on stage are something to behold and I've seen everyone from Streisand (still vivid in my memory all these years later) to Cheyenne Jackson of late. Mr. Butz was brilliant as was Ms. Butler and Mr. Wopat.

I for one am most anxious for a trip to view this thoroughly enjoyable show again - this time on Broadway. I wish them all the best.

Is Tveit definately doing this show?

I had heard that some of the casting has already been done and that it has plans to move into NYC theatre.

Right now there is no news. Anything being "spread" are rumors at best.
