Posted: 5/21/04 at 2:19amProbably a miracle from the Theater Fairy. The show hasn't been gone nearly long enough for them to think about a revial. There are some shows that are gone for 20+ years before they are revived.

Posted: 5/21/04 at 3:00amAs much as I love Ragtime, it needs to wait about 20 years before it should be revived. I would love to see it professionally done, but I think it would be best for the show if it waited. Until then, you'll have to live with the cast recording and seeing it somewhere else.

Posted: 5/21/04 at 9:26amHopefully, it will get a book revision and be totally restaged. I love the score, but I didn't like the Broadway production. Luckily, the score is strong enough on its own to work in concert versions. The minimalist Paper Mill production should be pretty good.
