I thought I heard something about Ralph Fiennes coming back to Broadway in 2006. Does anyone have any info about it? He's one of my favorites.

Oh I hope so! That man is crazy good!
Edit: I just looked it up and something came up about him doing a revival of Faith Healer.

Yes! That man is absolutely brilliant!
Are tickets already on sale? How long is the run? Oh, I love this man. Love. Him.
I'm going to bring along a giant poster of Alex Kingston with the word "REVENGE" written on it and make Ralph apologize for cheating on such a woman.

She left ER last year ... rather unexcitingly, she kinda just disappeared.
I was watching True Hollywood Story about JLo yesterday (it was a slow TV day) and when they were talking about the movie she made with Ralph Finnes they kept referring to him as "Ray" or at least it sounded like that. I had never heard that before ....
They fired her because apparently she was either "too old" or her character had run its course. I hear she was very unhappy on the show because they were using her less and less. They really waste their best actors on that show. Very unfair, considering the great work she did.
JL, well, his name is pronounced "Rafe," and maybe people call him Ray for short.

She left/was fired? Really? I had no idea. Then again, I haven't really been watching it much this season.
Yeah, it's really unfortunate. After they made her marry robot Mark, bear a child and turn into a shell of her former self, they kick her off the show.
I miss old-school ER. Pre-Abby.

Ralph Fiennes, Cherry Jones, and Ian McDiarmid will star in the Gate Theatre's staging of Faith Healer, in Dublin, Ireland. It will transfer to the Booth in Mid-April. It opens in Ireland in February.
I am so excited to see this! And Ian McDiarmid to boot :)
Hehe...Voldemort...
I wish I had something else to say.
ShBrt ... thanks, I had never heard it spoken and always assumed it was just pronounced how it was spelled.
I am excited to see him in different things ... the first time I really noticed him, he was teh crazy guy in "Red Dragon" so when I saw him in that J Lo movie he creeped me out even though he was playing a nice guy! (The later Voldemort role didn't help) I think this show should be fun!
Ian McDiarmid! Sweet. Wow, three great actors. This better be good.

Just to clarify: Ingrid Craigie is in the Dublin production. Cherry Jones will play Grace when it transfers New York.

I was just going over some notes from a Q&A with Ralph I went to in Dec. Where he talks about Faith Healer, I have a note, " end mid-August."
Can anyone confirm that?

Incidentally, how do you really pronounce his name, because I've been hearing a lot of people pronounce it as "RAY Fines." Is this the correct pronunciation.

from the UK side of the pond.....Ralph Fiennes pronounces his name : "Rayf Fines". bizarre english pronounciation im afraid. lol
Random side note: Last year my school did H.M.S. Pinafore and the Ralph as "Rafe" thing gave us so many issues.
