She stole BKLYN from Eden- (Poor Eden! she is great too, but "Paradice" wins the REAL round!) The girls are better than the show. But will make a great cd.

Was she ever in Dreamgirls? What a great voice! She reminds me of the girl I saw do Dreamgirls in Los Angeles with BJ Crosby as Effie. And I cannot find my playbill! I think she was Lorrell?

If she was, Clevant Derricks (who is in BKLYN) was in the original Dreamgirls playing Jimmy (he won a tony), and if she was Lorrell his girlfriend, thats a cool connection.

RK should get nominated for the Tony, but it is too early I'd guess.

I know she did regional productions of Dreamgirls and Little Shop, that's about all the help I can give you there, but she was an understudy to the leads in Smokey Joe's which is where I got lucky enough to see her. I'm not at all surprised to hear that Keller and Derricks' are stealing this show ,that is, if there's anything to steal.

She played Lorrell in Atlanta with Jennifer Holliday and in the recent west-coast tour with Frenchie Davis.
