I have a VERY random question, and I could not find any other threads on it.

Why did the Lage Aux Folles revival and All Shook Up switch theaters?

I don't think they did. La Cage was at the Marquis and All Shook Up was across the street from tkts

The original production of La Cage was at the Palace, but the revival was always at the Marquis. ASU was always at the Palace.

The revival of La Cage was originally announced for the Palace.

I seem to remember that if La Cage switched to the Marquis, they would be able to start performances sooner, so they did.

La cage was supposed to go into the Palace but it went into the Marquis instead. When the palace opened up All Shook Up took it.
