He has really made showtunes politically well-known in the last couple years and I feel he is such a part of the Broadway community (without really ever having been on Broadway) that that kind of connected national appearance and recognition is well deserved.

I applaud the sentiment, though I think you need hundreds of thousands of signatures to effect a change in the Tony presenters.
Also, what would Randy Rainbow do as a presenter? We fans would expect something political and outrageous--two things the Tony Awards are rarely allowed to be.

No Tony presenters have been announced yet so there wouldn't be anything to change. I don't think the suggestion was for Corden to be replaced as host. I still don't think Randy is well known enough to TV audiences to warrant an appearance. Unless they come up with something really clever.
