Has John Cudia (spelling?) left Phantom? When I saw Phantom in May I saw Carrington Vilmont but I'm pretty sure he was the understudy. If he has left, who is the new Raoul in Phantom? Thanks!
He left a while ago. Tim Martin Gleason is the new Raoul on Broadway. (Yay!)

Thank you! Is there anywhere that I can listen to his voice... I checked on his website, but there was nothing. Didn't know if there were clips of him singing (anything) on some other websites.

I'm seeing Phantom for the first time tomorrow. I can't decide if I'm excited.

Yes, you are rather correct on Hugh Panaro.
Up In Lost, I hope you dont have to endure Tim Martin Gleason.

I actually enjoyed Tim Martin Gleason's performance. And what a voice! I liked John Cudia better, but I gave Tim some slack since he was (and still is) pretty new to the role.
Up In Lost- I'm assuming you know the entire story of Phantom, but just to cover all my bases so I don't get yelled at (please don't yell at me...)
**Spoiler??... I dunno...**
I love Hugh Panaro! At the end, I literally wanted to stand up and start screaming: "Go Back!!!" to Christine. Then I thought maybe I could marry him instead, so I shut up and let her go merrily on her way.
Radioactiveduck- what didn't you like about Tim Martin Gleason?
I loved Tim as both Raoul and the Phantom -- although I saw him three years ago on tour and have heard he's not exactly improved since.
Actually, Tim is rather old to the role. I cant really say exactly what i didn't like (it was almsot 2 years ago), but I remember despising him. He plays up the foppiness of the role SO much.
I really like Michael Shawn Lewis as Raoul.

Is the Phantom cast a revolving one? Lol. I've heard Hugh is amazing, so I'm excited about that. It's the Christine(Is her name Julie, or something?) I've heard strange tings about. Oy. I don't like kvitchering, lord knows why I'm seeing Phantom. Lol.

I meant new as in new to Broadway. He may have played Raoul on the tour, but playing a role on Broadway is probably more intimidating and can possibly affect one's performance.
