I have a single ticket I bought and now am unable to use. It is an e-ticket. I know how to use stubhub, but I would like to resell it on here to another fan for face value. I know this is a dumb question for most, but what is the best way to do this? Should I have a buyer Venmo me the money, then email them the ticket? Thanks for any advice.

What show? Cost? Date?
Most people would use PayPal or Venmo

Yes, this is exactly how you should do it.

Pretty much. They pay, you send.
I usually find that BWW is best if you have a good discounted ticket or somesuch, or a ticket to a very hot show. If you have a full price ticket to Waitress on a Tuesday, fewer will care, until you start discounting.

I wanted to get advice before I actually posted my tickets with all of the relevant info.
So will a buyer just venmo me money and hope that I'm trustworthy enough to send it? Or would I email the ticket first, then they would venmo me? Sorry to be so clueless, I just don't want to screw up and give away my ticket and not get paid.
EDIT: okay, I read the above responses. Thanks guys. It is Hello DOlly with bette on a Friday for face value, so I hope I can sell it.

Pretty much. I mean, the fact that you joined today and want to sell a ticket will raise some concern among the cautious, whereas people who have been on here for years will seem slightly more legit.

Paypal also has a "goods and services" payment option. The seller gets charged an extra amount (it's around 2.9% I believe), but it gives the buyer a guaranteed return policy. Much cheaper than Stubhub for both of you.
This way, you can get the money and then transfer the ticket and the buyer doesn't have to worry that they will get their ticket.
