Reading Dress Wear Question#1

Does anyone know if there is a certain dress code for a reading? I am going to one tonight and don't want to be too dressy or too casual.

I don't think there is a "rule" but I would dress nicely because you never know who you could meet. First impressions and all that. Slacks and a dress shirt would be fine I would think.

I was told business casual when I got an invitation to one.
