Real time pitch correction technology on Broadway ?

While attending the current revival of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF I couldn't help but wonder if or when "autotuners" will be used live on Broadway? Here's a link to an interesting article (and an audio sample) at NPR.

Hopefully, we won't have to come to this. But perhaps they should throw one into the Majestic Theater. That way, Sandra Joseph will no longer be ridiculously flat at the end of the cadenza in "Think Of Me."
