Why is it necessary for the actress playing Gary Coleman to wear a cheek mic in You Can Be As Loud As The Hell You Want When You're Making Love (When you're making love)
. I mean she doesn't wear one during Schadenfreude. Sooooo does anyone have a reason?
Wow, never even noticed it.
You're very observant!
Because her mic is in her hat and she doesn't wear her hat during You Can Be As Loud As the Hell You Want. Does she not wear her hat for scedenfreude either?
I think a better question is why does she have to be mic'd at all?

She doesn't wear her hat for Schadenfreude but she doesn't have a cheek mic in that number either. And I had a feeling it was because of the hat.
I have this fetish for cheek mics. It's really weird, I know. I just think they're cool, even when the show is utter crap (Good Vibrations)
I'm not a fan of seeing the mics. I don't know how they can hide them so well in something like Legally Blonde, yet when I see Hairspray, Shannon Durig's mic comes halfway down her forehead. Maybe it's the big hopped up wig?

We sort of use mics like that at The Company Theatre. We used to have these really obvious ones a few years back (first noticed they used 'em in Ragtime). I dunno. I think we use less obvious ones but we don't quite hide them. What are ya gonna do?
I know, it's a fact of life in theatre. Just something I noticed about the different ones.
