My daughter is going to try the student rush. Is the location still standing room? Or seats--and if so, where? Thanks!!
I don't think they do standing room anymore. Seats are usually on the very sides of the orchestra, but the view is just fine! I've sometimes gone later in the day to see what they have and then they sometimes offer balcony seats.

Actually they do standing room still, because I did it a couple weeks ago. It always depends on if it's sold out or not. If the show isn't sold out, they'll sell you tickets on the sides of the orchestra or in the balcony as student rush, but if it is sold out, they'll give you standing room. Standing room is completely fine for this show though, because there's only maybe 15 rows in the orchestra so you're not very far from the stage at all, and you can always move up if there are open seats at intermission.
I did the student rush last Tuesday and have front row center Orchestra seats. I guess it's easy to assume that you'll be in the orchestra if your daughter gets to the box office early enough.

So, it appears to depend on the day; no hard and fast rule about location. She's trying it on a weekend, which will likely be more crowded.
Thanks, all.
