Coming in with my sister for 3 days and 4 shows. Have tickets for the above. We've seen many of the major (on Broadway) shows but need two more recommendations. We'd like to see two more together but also ok to split up. I'd like to see Falsettos (not her) and possibly Humans (she's already seen). Looking at off Broadway options - Master Harold, Heisenberg or the Encounter. Suggestions appreciated.
Go see Falsettos or Sweet Charity (if you can get tickets). I also would recommend Ride The Cyclone (though many on the board would disagree with me) but I LOVED that show.
Oh, Hello would be my pick (loved DEH, Comet and Falsettos so you have a great slate already). The Humans is a wonderful play as well but Oh, Hello had us (and the whole audience) rolling. It's absolutely hilarious.
Heisenberg is fabulous and ten times more engrossing than The Humans, in my opinion. But Oh, Hello is also hysterical. I'd go between either of those two plays.
Oh, Hello is nothing legendary, but it's loads of fun and just a good, silly time.
I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.
just FYI, Heisenberg is ON Broadway now. It played Off-Broadway last season and has moved after that run was so successful. I saw it Off Broadway and thought it was a really good, interesting show. A little strange, but good with some great acting!
In case you haven't seen it yet, I'd recommend Waitress as long as Jessie is still in it, she's a force of nature.
Thanks to all. We got our TDF tickets for Heisenberg today and now we're down to one open show slot. I will likely go for Falsetto's while she is looking off broadway at maybe Master Harold, Poison or another.
