The best thing about NYMF is that their website usually has song clips for each show. Sometimes , the song clips alone make the decision for me to see a show or not.

Most of the shows have song clips, which is really a good deciding factor. The only thing they need to add is the run time of each show. I had planned on doing a couple on one day at different theaters and was wondering if I had enough time to get from one to the other. After checking the NYMF site, individual show sites or FB pages, decided to call admin office of NYMF. Good thing I did, the two shows I wanted to see ran right into each other, both being over 2 hours. So if you are planning to do more then one in a day in different venues be sure to check the run times. They are supposed to be adding run times to the website.
FYI the three I asked about:
Without you runs approx 90 minutes
Show Choir runs approx 2 hrs 15 min
Tess approx 2 hrs 15 min
I see they are adding the run times to each show, most have them now, easier to plan trips

TRAILS by Thomson and Mann. Show just had an LA run and had very positive buzz.
An extra show has been added to the sold-out run of Anthony Rapp's Without You on October 8th at 11:30 pm.

Every year I attend NYMF, I seem to miss one of the must see productions. That's not a problem I'll have this year. I've scheduled my vacation so that I will be able see every full production at least once, and several twice. I'm looking forward to the challenge of seeing 38 performances of 30 shows in 14 days!
