Check out Jay Kuo's beautiful "The Mountain's Heart" performed by Lea Salonga and Michael K. Lee from Allegiance, A New American Musical opening Sept. 7th at The Old Globe Theatre, San Diego, CA.

Based on this song and the ones on their website, this looks promising! I'm really excited, though I hope that they've re-done some of incredibly cringe-worthy lyrics. The cast is excellent, and I hope they all stay on for Broadway. Anyone have any idea when it's supposed to be coming? The website is rather vague.

The production company does not have any idea when it's going to Broadway. I guess they'll wait after the premiere at the Old Globe, raise funds and maybe do some more tweaking. But, I heard they are aiming for next year, in the fall.
