Broadway vets Misty Cotton (Miss Saigon), David Engel (Seussical, Putting It Together, La Cage Aux Folles), Larry Raben (The Producers, Chess), and Tami Tappan-Damiano (Cyrano--The Musical) are among the stars of Music Theater Guild's one-night-only concert staged reading of Andrew Lippa's The Wild Party Monday June 6 at the Alex Theater in Glendale. I won't be missing L.A.'s only chance to see and hear the off-Broadway version of Lippa's WP, full of one memorable song after another. As of this posting, only 6 more 1/2 price tickets are being offered by Gold Star Events. With all the Tony-mania today, don't let this chance slip by!
