They have Adventures in Babtsitting t-shirts? My inner Anthony geek wants one, so she can run around singing "babysitting Blues" at the top of her lungs, revealing that she has...indeed memorized it.
I love Madam Adam and Messe Jesse, if i could make icons, I would. I already have my "I loved Adam before the movie", "I loved Anthony before the movie", and "I loved Rent before it was a movie"!
ohh i get it now, cause wax and candles.. yup :).
*pets Wax Lion* You guys are mean! And Nard, your stepping on ME is why we're not letting you near someone who's ONLY four inches tall. I mean, I'm 5 feet tall.
Incendiary, then we'll have the same icon?
And I still need to SEE Adventures in Babysitting.
adventures in babysitting is a movie, right?

You haven't seen it, Em? It's..cute? Well, Anthony was funny. I haven't seen it in a while and our Blockbuster doesn't carry it.
Yes. Anthony Rapp was in it when he was like... my age (or maybe a bit less?).
ETA - no, I haven't! heh. But I will. I just FINALLY saw David Searching; I had to have Barnes and Noble special-order it.
Emcee,
Wax Lion wants to know what you *thought* of David Searching. Perhaps he'll go order it from Barnes & Noble now, too.
Love,
Wax Lion
And Wax Lion is apologizing in advance for the recent thread jacking. It's all relative, I'm sure. Relaxing during these boho days is nice...until it's time for rehearsal. *sigh*

I actually liked it very much - I bought it about two months ago, and I've since watched it several times. I think it's a really sweet story, and what can I say? I'm a sap. I thought the acting was great - by both the lovely Mr. Rapp and by Camryn Manheim (I think that's how you spell it?).
Anyway, check it out - all of you! It's kind of hard to find, but worth the trouble. You can order it online pretty easily, I think.
i was looking at David Searching on moviefone.com (ive never seen it before) and in the synopsis it says, "Anthony Rapp is a would-be documentary filmmaker trying to get a project off the ground." kinda ironic in a way, dont you think?
heh. Yeah, David is quite a lot like Mark. He's gay, though. It's cute, he's searching for love, and all that jazz.
I didn't realize Anthony was in so many movies.
Oy. Wax Lion doesn't find the irony in that situation, but rather finds coincedence in David and Mark's similitude. David is queer...Mark is not. But, the similiraties are there, and ya...good film.

Ps. Wax Lion, you inspired me so much, I changed my av.

I can't remember the name of his character, but he's got a small part in it; I want to say he's one of Russell Crow's character's students, or something like that. I haven't seen the movie in ages.
luv, you didn't! ha!

My TiVo alerted me this morning that A Beautiful Mind was going to be on ABC on the 20th ( I have a wishlist in Anthony's name) and I too had no idea he was in that film!

What? Em, What didn't I do?
Bender. His characters name was Bender...and he was one of John Nash's friends at Princeton.

Emcee likes "Look Around," Wax Lion.
