Rent Nov 22 Midnight Showing
Rent Nov 22 Midnight Showing#0
Posted: 11/2/05 at 11:25amGot my tickets for the midnight showing at the Zeigfeld (sp?) Who else is going to that showing? It is only $8 per ticket (cheap for NY) I wanted to go there since I know the theater is huge and I will be surrounded by so many Rent fans - it will be so much fun to see the movie together...Three more weeks!!! Can't wait! I was thinking there is a chance that some of the cast could show up at that screening since it would be fun for them to see it with the opening night crowd, but they probably already have things set up for that evening...

Unfortunately, I have rehearsal that Tuesday night and wouldn't make it into the city in time. Psh.
But you can bet that Wednesday (our first day of Thanksgiving Break) will be a full on day in the city. Annnnnd maybe a little RENT at some point too. :)

Posted: 11/2/05 at 12:32pmOh yeah, I asked the guy in the box office if they were selling a lot for that performance, and he said he already had a couple hundred sold, but don't worry! it's a 1200 seat theatre.

Wow. 1200 Rentheads.
I'm a little bit scared. There will be mooing, no doubt. However, I think I'd regret not being there. We'll see.

Posted: 11/2/05 at 2:36pmyou would think for a pg13 a child wouldn't be able to buy a ticket without an adults
re: Rent Nov 22 Midnight Showing#23
Posted: 11/2/05 at 2:36pmWell now I have to make the trek to the box office to sort out this ticket thing so I will check if they are selling them there also.

PG13 is not a restriction, it's a guideline. It doesn't work like R, which (in reality, only some theatres care) is the rating for which kids can't buy tickets without an adult. PG13 hasn't ever worked like that. Kids can see those movies without their parents without a problem, I think.
8 bucks is nice, though.
