I know that asking a question on here about Rent isn't really a step on the pathway to popularity. That being said, I am trying to take my sister to the tour in Los Angeles (since that is the closest place to Vegas) and am kind of confused about the pricing. Ont he website the official site directed me to, it says the highest price for Orchestra Center seats (A-ZZ) is $75. However, on the theater's website (the only place I can find to purchase said tickets) it says they cost $238 each, on a good day.
Anyone mind explaining this?

Whatever you do, don't pay $238.
The $75.00 is from the regular ticketmaster or telecharge. The $238.00 is from a ticket broker.

No one here really pays a broker price. We always get the ticket on either at the boxoffice, TKTS or telecharge/ticketmasters.

According to what I'm looking at, the L.A. shows of Rent aren't on sale yet. So definitely don't pay $238.
Well thank you for the quick responses. I definitely won't buy those tickets. The only problem is that on the ticketmaster site, it does not list any of the Los Angeles dates (March 1- as for sale.

Any idea where I can buy it for the real price? Thanks again for any help.
Edited to add: oh, if they aren't on sale yet - that does make sense.

Most likely at Pantages Theater website. I bought tickets there before when I saw WICKED in Los Angeles. You just have to wait!
