Posted: 1/4/08 at 6:35pmI believe that Rent sells standing room even when they aren't sold out. I don't think SA does that.

Posted: 1/4/08 at 9:26pmWell, I was contemplating seeing SA again on thursday night, and I got there at 10, and I was like 10th in line, and I didn't feel like waiting. But if you want to get tickets, I would recommend getting there early.

#14re: Rent Standing room vs. Spring awakening
Posted: 1/4/08 at 9:35pmI know Jersey Boys has SRO, and A Chorus Line. And if you want to, you can student rush some plays, and you would have a good chance at getting a seat.

9:30 am? You shouldn't have a problem rushing any show if you want to wait for a long time.
Spring Awakening, A Chorus Line, Legally Blonde, and anything else that has student rush.

Posted: 1/4/08 at 9:49pmOh, I was under the impression that for a saturday matinee I would have to be in like by 8 to get tickets to spring awakening?
#18re: Rent Standing room vs. Spring awakening
Posted: 1/4/08 at 9:51pmOh. if I recall, I think the box office opens at 10 for matinees, and in that case, 9:30 WILL be too late. lol. I don't know how busy matinees are for SA, but I could imagine that they are really busy. So you can probably go at 8.

Posted: 1/4/08 at 9:55pmYeah thats the problem im getting into the city at 930. So, do you know of any rushed besides a chorus line or even standing room that is sure to still be open?
#20re: Rent Standing room vs. Spring awakening
Posted: 1/4/08 at 10:04pmI'm not sure. I got the last SRO for the show for a Chorus Line, like 20 minutes before the show. You could just check at SA first to see if there are any left.

SA's rush has been lame, recently.
I rushed on 12/22, got there at 7, and by 10 there were a total of 15 people in line. People were buying rush seats for the matinee at 1:45, aka 15 min. before the show. You will be fine with 9:30.
