Rent Tour

Has anyone seen the Rent tour lately? I'm seeing it in a couple of weeks and am curious as to the talent of the cast and how it compares to previous casts/tours. I hope my favorites (Roger and Mimi) are good!

I hope to see it in Las Vegas on the 20th. I'm not sure if that's before or after you seeing it, but I'll let you know what I think...!

I saw the tour in January and I was REALLY impressed. I've seen the show quite a few times, and a number of different people, and I really like this cast. The strongest people are definitely Brian Gligor (Mark), Marcus Paul James (Collins) and Jaime Lee Kirchner (Mimi), though Constantine Maroulis (Roger) and Daryl Brown (Benny) really rubbed me the right way as well. The only weak link, I felt, was Maureen. They are a really energetic unit, very young and fresh and GREAT as ensemble. I can't wait to catch them again in Boston! Have fun seeing them, they are very worth it.

I am going to be seeing it on the 21 here in Las Vegas. It'll be my third tour of RENT, and I am so excited. I get to meet the cast, so I am absolutely thrilled!
