Oh, no, no one would EVER do that...
Oy! What was I thinking. You are so right. It's purely coincidence that the that someone signed up that day only to post a positive note about the seller after the seller (I'm convinced) is posting all over the boards plugging their auction. Wait! Thenardier, I apologize. I'm sure the seller wouldn't do that either. They just have two little nice people who came out of nowhere who just desperately wanted to draw attention to the auction for her and went to a lot of trouble to do it. That's it. Thenardier, thanks for setting me straight :)

Emcee is a she.

Yes, I'm a girl. And no, I'm not one bit embarassed. I didn't effing blow $50 bucks on a piece of paper.
Hysterical, aren't I, fengshui?

fengshui, I've been reading your posts, and you've been on the offensive all day. Emcee didn't do anything. Simmer down. It'll do you some good.

haha, I read "simmer down" and I though of that little popsicle stick guy who used to be on Nickelodeon. He said that all the time.
Anyway, thank you.

Ok, no. Emcee's uber-nice. She entertained me the other night while I had a nasty-ass cold.
Psh.
And besides, taking a souvenier to remember that you WERE someplace is different than BUYING something totally worthless that really only has the word "RENT" written on it once just to pretend like you went.

Kimmygonbefamous: You're obviously a close friend of this so called emcee. So you shouldn't talk. Friends of those who are rude and offensive are equally Rude and offensive.

Quick, go for the hat trick and compare everyone on the board to Hitler! There's still time!
(Just trying to highlight how ridiculous this is, is all.)

How many of Emcee's posts have you read? She is most certainly not a rude or unkind person, and she certainly hasn't said anything rude or unkind on this thread!
And Kimmy is quite right. There's a big difference between taking something as a souvenier and paying 50 dollars for it on Ebay.

Posted: 3/26/05 at 7:02pmNo problem Emcee... I hate when people say that other people are rude when they're so not. (Does that make sense? i hate when i confuse myself, too)

Actually, Emcee and I have never met. Or even talked on the phone. I just happen to be an excellent judge of character.
And if you had done any sort of research before making unfounded character attacks, you would know that neither Emcee nor myself are rude and obnoxious at all. Could it be that maybe you just bring out the worst in people? And if the worst of Emcee is on this thread, well, we should all consider ourselves lucky, because you can do a lot worse. Go back to the playpen.

I enjoy you and your posts, Bso. You and I agree on the all-consuming hotness of one Ms. Idina Menzel. I'm a Bso fan.

Ah, just as Emcee and myself agree on the hotness of a certain Mr. Pascal...

Sorry Em, just actually meant it as a little inside joke because I still appreciate my souvenir, didn't realize anyone would react that way.
And I agree, that's what I was saying all the time, there's a difference between us peeling the papers off when they expired(though I did have temporary hand pain) and buying the paper, even for a $1-it just seems meaningless really. It has more meaning for me, Emcee and TGIF because it serves as something we could remember the night by so for us it becomes a memory, not just a piece of paper, but to anyone who wasn't there, it's still a piece of paper.
And also hafta add Emcee is awesome and a sweetie! We went to the set and it was so much fun, you're the one being rude and obnoxious and calling others that. I guess that means you would think most of the board is...oh well.

I'm going to clarify my post that fengshui thinks was mean, because I feel like I have to so he'll get off my ass.
Here's the post:
Well, no matter WHO is selling the sign, it IS just a piece of paper. The seller isn't going to make it more or less of a piece of crap...
If you paid attention and read, dearest, I'm not saying that the sign IS a piece of crap. I'm saying that no matter who's selling it, and whether the seller be as sweet as sugar, or the biggest b*tch you've ever met, it's still just a parking sign. It's still JUST a piece of paper. No one here has been disparaging HAVING the sign, so much as PAYING for it, and the basis of this thread became one of making bad remarks about who the seller of the item might be, not the VALUE (sentimental of monetary) of what's being sold. I was not saying that the sign is stupid, thereby embarassing myself by revealing that yes, I have one, as you're accusing me of having done, but rather telling people to shut up already about what the seller's personality is like, because it doesn't make a difference. Someone said that BECAUSE the seller was a b*tch, s/he must therefore be selling a piece of crap, which is just pure idiocy. The sign doesn't have more or less worth based on who is selling it.
Does THAT make sense to you, darling?

Thanks, Kimmy..
I agree, wicrenq - it's the same wih autographs...It's more meaningful when you got them in person...
