So I don't know if this has been discussed...but to suspend your disbelief a little further...think of it this way...

(BUT only when Tina's in for Julia):

The dress in the shop is the dress she's meant to wear when she's going to marry Glen...when she marries Robbie, she decides that she can't wear the other dress so she picks a new one to become Mrs. Robbie Hart.

(Like I said, the theory doesn't work when Laura's in the show...but it's something to think about.)

It's been a while since I had the pleasure of seeing Ms. Maddigan go on, but doesn't she also wear the dress from the finale in the scene in her bedroom/If I Told You? That would make your scenario not work, really, since at that point, she's still marrying Glenn.

All the discussion about Tina's dress is not about her finale dress. Laura's finale dress is different from the one in the shop. But in the "If I Told You Seen" Julia is trying on her dress for her wedding to Glen. Laura has the shop dress, Tina has a different one. Thats the problem.

Ah, now I understand...I see the point now...
I've been trying to find out the deal for weeks now. My anonymous source is workin' on it!

		     			You are so cute, Phanty.
I love that you love Tina.
PS Tina and her friends were staring at my Niece a few weeks ago.
She seems very nice.

Phanty, I dare you to ask her at the stage door. Tina's so funny, she'd probably grab your hand and say sure.
Actually, the dress Laura wears in the bedroom is similar to the one in the dress shop, but still not the same. It appears as though instead of having two identical dresses, production just found two dresses that, from a distance, look alike. Tina's bedroom dress is totally different, however.

And it's been bothering me as well that both Julias pick a different dress to become Mrs. Robbie Hart - because she doesn't say, "This is the dress I'm going to marry Glen in," or something like that, she says, "This is the dress I was meant to get married in," and he even says she looks beautiful... Maybe it's the whole superstition "see the bride before the wedding" thing, but still.

Rather charming for an outdoor wedding.
Maybe now that she'll be in for six weeks straight for certain, they'll work with her on changing it?
