Returning a Ticket#1

Posted: 5/4/09 at 2:37pm

Hi,
Well my first post which didnt list a day or time or even the show was removed. And all I was doing was asking for help. So now I have a different question.
Can you return a ticket? I have 1 extra ticket to West Side Story. Is this popular enough that they will take it back?
I never listed a day or time and I was not trying to sell it here on the boards. My original question was how to sell it legally and where.

Just go back to where you bought it and ask them if you can return it. Tell them something came up and you can't use it. Even the big ticket-meisters (telecharge, ticketmaster) have been known to take them back sometimes.

First time I saw "Hairspray" in NY I realised that I'd booked the wrong date, one week early - as I was travelling from London it would have been a bit tricky. I managed to plead well enough with the Ticketmaster staff that they swapped my tickets.

While buying Mamma Mia tickets at the box office, I accidentally bought the tickets for the day before I wanted, and the woman instantly exchanged them.
