Returning tickets to Harry Potter and the Cursed Child

Hi everyone,

Im trying to return three tickets for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child for the cast change date in March next year and was hoping to get a little insight from anyone who has returned tickets before. A little background is that these were wrongly purchased during the April release when the website declined my card multiple times on my phone. It turns out that the payment did in fact go through and I ended up with four tickets in different places in the orchestra. Its also worth pointing out that I didnt receive a confirmation email for these seats.

I have been in contact with Ticketmaster and asked if I can return three of the four tickets. When I asked about acquiring a refund on the live chat option on the website I was told that because these were purchased before the 4th May I am eligible for a full refund. After emailing the support email I have just been told by Ticketmaster that they are now not offering refunds for any tickets. Surely if these were not the terms the tickets were purchased under this cant be applicable?

It would be great to hear from anyone else that has experienced anything similar and the outcomes you had.

You are able to get the refund through live chat or through calling. Tell them it was purchased before the date refunds were no longer allowed.

I believe if you go to your orders page on Ticketmaster, and click Live Chat when you're on the page for your Harry Potter tickets, that will dump you into the chat that will know they offer refunds. If you just go into the general queue, they will just give you the standard no refunds or exchanges line.
