This review of the first preview was submitted to me this morning from a poster on the Idina Menzel message board. I thought I would share since it was quite glowing.

Enjoy!

might wanna mention that it's an unofficial review from The Idina Menzel Message Board. avoid hurt feelings when any of the anti-Idina folks suddenly find themselves at the heart of the beast...figuratively.

I'm glad to hear that someone liked but I don't know how much credibility this review has...my favorite line had to be:

"I began to think it possible that Little Women could be better than Wicked. And that’s an incredible thought, considering how much I adore Wicked."

Ok I'm done being mean, I really think it's going to be great and I'm really excited for it. Time to order tickets!

Wow, my only complain is they didn't really address much of the set design or costumes. Anyone know what the set's supposed to look like? (besides the bridge thing) Can't wait to get the recording!

That's one good review down and hopefully more to come. I am hopeful it will do well on Broadway and very excited for my theater pal Robert Meffe, their musical director, who has been keeping me posted since the show was in the creative stages.

He claims the score is lovely and the talent is awesome...and I'm a beleiver of someone who has conducted with POTO and LeMiz for years. Best to Little Women!

I had serious doubts about this but maybe it will work. I LOVE the book and it will be hard to live up to it. Even if the critics give it mixed sounds like they'll get the teenage girls who like Wicked (just about when Idina leaves)...

So my dear you think you can get to Broadway. Well, let me tell you something. Broadway has no room for people like you. Not the Broadway I know. My Broadway takes people like you and eats them up and spits them out. My Broadway is the Broadway of Merman, and Martin, and Fontaine, and if you think you can build yourself up by knocking other people down... ...GOOD LUCK... Seinfeld

Thank you so much for posting the review. I was debating whether to see this show or not, but today I decided I had to see Sutton, so I bought tickets. The review just made my ticket purchase sound like an even better purchase. I am very excited that this show could be an excellent one...and not just because of Sutton!!!
