Yeah I was stunned to read that there was "No ideal Mame" because that has to be one of the most cast-able parts ever. Megan would be ideal. Baranski is wonderful. Hell, let's give Kirstie Alley a shot at it.

Baranski is boring - plays one role. Kirstie Alley could be very funny (those Jenny Craig ads are fabulous), but I doubt she has the voice.
