Rhiannon Hansen out of LB tour for month!

Just read and had it confirmed that Rhiannon Hansen has a fracture in her foot and will be out of the Legally Blonde Tour for at least a month.

Alex Ellis will be the new Margot. Tiffany Engan (Broadway swing) will be the new Kate/Chutney. So I guess for now, Lauren Zakrin is the only Elle cover (not that Becky will miss)

Also, for you fans...Stacey Sargeant is leaving and Amber Efe (Broadway ensemble) is taking over. Can't wait to see Amber do the "Positive" dance break!

almost positive that becky hasn't missed a performance yet.

rhiannon (poor thing!) should be back by the time the tour hits st. louis.

anyone heard about lauren and rhiannon splitting understudy duties in houston?

They were supposed to split the week in Houston. My guess is that now Lauren Zakrin will, out of necessity, have to do the entire thing. Could be an interesting situation if something were to happen to her (assuming Gulsvig will be away that week).

I believe Lauren is taking a few shows for Becky when it comes here (East Lansing) because Lauren is from Michigan and she asked if Becky wouldn't mind calling out a night or two. That info could be false. Poor Rhiannon. When does Amber Efe take over?

As far as I know Nick said Rhiannon would be back by St. Louis, which means that she should still be splitting the week with Lauren in Houston.
Now if only they would announce which week it is...

Alex Ellis is GENIUS, her Margot (from what I've heard) is a real treat. I know a lot of people are very, very impressed with her and I imagine she'll find herself working again pretty quickly after this tour. She was hilarious and a standout as Kate/Chutney, and definitely did a lot with a relatively small role.

On another note, it makes me sad that so many people from the B'way cast cannot find other jobs and are taking the show on the road. But Tiffany Engen was AWESOME every time I saw her on Broadway, her Serena especially was very good. Anyone know if she'll be covering the same tracks she covered on Broadway?

Alex was actually a really amazing Margot. I was skeptical at first, because my favorite Margot will always be Annaleigh, but I saw Alex when Rhiannon was out for a weekend, and she rocked it. Hit every part, and is a fabulous singer!

Tiffany is also great and I'm so excited shes joining the cast. Stacey leaves on Sunday I think? And Amber will fill in from then on.

Seriously? Legally Blonde closed, what, two and a half months ago? That is a very short amount of time to book a job that would be better than this tour... especially going into the holidays. Tiffany is only replacing for four weeks, and we don't know how short Amber's contract is. It was a smart move on both their parts.

That's because Rhiannon hurt herself again (broken leg or something) and is now out until May.
