I walked past the theater today and there was maaajor construction going on inside and on the marquee. Disney has taken over folks. I wonder if it will be specifically designed for Tarzan...

They're not exactly Disney-ifying the outside - they're restoring the original marquee to what it used to be - more curved, less industrial looking.

The dressing rooms and inside are getting cleaned up
The TARZAN part is the stage
Looks good so far
More Producers should fix up the Old theatres
The Neederlanders and Disney are gettin' so cosy.
Any word on what's going where McHales etc. used to be?

All theaters should do away of the ugly industrial marquees. So gross. More people should go the route of Disney. I can't think of any other marquees that aren't gross and industrial. Maybe The Broadway Theater.

I'm excited to see if the highest sign on the Rodgers will be bulbs.
i just hope they don't paint the exterior like it was for FOOTLOOSE.

I think The Broadway Theatre is one of the most "industrialized" looking theatres on the outside. It was much better before they made the exterior look like an office building.

I noticed this the other day with Broadway Betty. I can't wait to see this show. But, I can wait till after previews. I want the kinks to be worked out by the time I see it.
